On Saturday August 24th, the Essen Fire Brigade will be carrying out several trainings in Hall 6. Between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m., there will therefore be an increased presence of emergency engines in the immediate vicinity of MESSE ESSEN. The aim of these recurring exercises is to familiarise the emergency services with the local conditions on the exhibition grounds and thus ensure a particularly high level of safety during our events. During the exercise, exhibition hall 6 is artificially filled with smoke using a fire smoke simulator. The process does not produce any combustion products that are harmful to people or property, so there are no restrictions for residents.
