Concrete opening perspectives and the positive development of the energy industry are reflected in the good registration figures for its leading trade fair. 15.000 square metres of the exhibition area of E-world energy & water, which will be held at Messe Essen from 8 to 10 February 2022, have already been booked.
Many federal states have decided on concrete plans for the restart of major events, including North Rhine-Westphalia, and thus offer companies and trade fair organisers clear planning security. E-world Managing Director Sabina Großkreuz is looking forward to the restart: "Every day, we experience how much the energy industry finally wants to meet in person again. The direct professional exchange is enormously important. The positive signals from the countries give our exhibitors more planning security and increase the anticipation for E-world 2022." These opening perspectives together with the positive development of the energy industry create the best preconditions for E-world 2022.
Energy suppliers, for example, report a renewed increase in turnover and have also hired more employees in 2020. Climate neutrality, smart metering and green electricity – these are the topics that are currently moving the industry. Last year, Germany was able to cover 19.3 percent of its energy consumption from renewable energies. Innovations and investments are needed to ensure that this figure continues to rise and that security of supply is guaranteed at the same time. The exhibitors at E-world will show new solutions for a more resource-conserving and efficient energy supply.
Important impulses for the energy industry also come from start-ups and young companies. With the "Innovation" exhibition area, E-world gives them their own stage where they can present their forward-looking ideas to a trade audience and at the same time establish important contacts with investors and customers. "These new solutions always invigorate our trade fair," says Stefanie Hamm, also E-world Managing Director. "We notice in our discussions that a platform like E-world has been massively lacking in the industry in recent months. In the energy industry, numerous innovations are waiting for the feedback they deserve. They will get it at the next E-world."
